
About Us

Aligned Intervention Services was created by Alicia Keefe and Alaina Gamache, who are two Speech-Language Pathologists with a passion for offering exceptional services in local communities. Growing up in Northern Alberta, Alicia and Alaina have recognized the importance of access to rural intervention services.
Alicia and Alaina both completed their Bachelor of Elementary Education degrees and their Master's of Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Alberta.

They have a combined 19 years experience in the field of rural Speech-Language Pathology and want to align you or your educational program with the community-based services you need.
Meet Alicia
Alicia is a Registered Speech-Language Pathologist and an owner of Aligned Intervention Services. Alicia has experience working with children in schools, clinics, daycares and preschools. Alicia believes in a coaching model to provide families and educational teams with strategies to meet the needs of the children they care for. She utilizes a strength-based approach to meet children where they are at and help to improve their communication skills.

Meet Alaina

Alaina is a Registered Speech-Language Pathologist and an owner of Aligned Intervention Services. Alaina has 11 years experience working with preschool, school-age, and adult clients in clinic, schools, and healthcare settings. Alaina is passionate about collaboration and teamwork with families, educational staff and other healthcare professionals. She values creating client centered, meaningful therapy goals to help each individual reach their potential.

Angele Lamontagne-Looy
With over a decade of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist, I am dedicated to helping individuals of all ages unlock their communication potential. My expertise in speech, language, and literacy has been honed through years of practice in schools, clinics, and healthcare settings, allowing me to support a diverse range of learners effectively. I hold an Elementary Education degree, a Post-Graduate Certificate in Francophone Speech-Language Pathology, and have pursued advanced training in literacy. This specialized knowledge enhances my ability to assess and address the complex needs of my clients in both English and French.
My approach is client-centered, collaborative, and evidence-based. I work closely with individuals, families, and educational teams to develop personalized strategies that foster communication success. Whether supporting children in developing foundational speech and literacy skills or assisting adults with language and communication challenges, my passion lies in empowering clients to thrive.
I specialize in assessing and diagnosing language-literacy disorders, and provide targeted reading and writing intervention and consultation. My goal is to equip individuals with the tools and strategies they need to communicate with confidence and engage meaningfully with the world around them.

Emma Spenceley
Emma is a Behavioural Consultant who offers coaching and consultation for children, who are aged 3-16 years old.
Emma provides personalized support and care to children who have different needs, abilities and diagnoses.
Emma has multiple years of experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum, alongside post-secondary education specializing in Behavioural Science and Autism.​

Jodi Harmse

Jodi is the Speech-Language Pathology Assistant at Aligned Intervention Services.
Jodi has worked in the Lakeland area for 10 years. Jodi brings a wealth of knowledge and experience treating speech sound disorders in an engaging and motivating atmosphere.

Cody is an Occupational Therapist who works with the Contract Team at Aligned Intervention Services.


Sarah Blais
Sarah is the Speech-Language Pathology Assistant who works with our Contract Team at Aligned Intervention Services.

Paige Kwiatkowski
Paige is an Occupational Therapist with one year of experience in the field. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from MacEwan University in 2021, followed by a Master’s in Occupational Therapy from the University of Alberta in 2023. While still early in her OT career, Paige has gained valuable experience in a variety of occupational therapy settings, bringing fresh knowledge and a strong dedication to helping clients achieve their fullest potential.
Originally from the Lakeland area, Paige always knew she wanted to return to the community after completing her studies. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, camping, and playing sports.
In her role, Paige specializes in supporting clients with fine motor development and picky eating, with a particular focus on expanding food repertoires. Whether you’re working to improve hand-eye coordination, master essential daily fine motor tasks, or encourage the exploration of new foods, Paige is here to help you along the way!
